T'was the night before surgery.........

Wow, did this sneak up on us! It's been a short 5 months of anticipation, and ready or not, here we go! It was kind of a rough night, especially for Sam! Alex didn't really understand what all the tears were about, and he's the one that's going to go through the worst of it.
Our tender hearted Sam, kept saying how he felt bad for Alex, and had kind of a hard time going to sleep. Dad laid next to him and finally got him to sleep, but not without a few more tears. He is such a sweet boy! He adores his brother, and is really going to miss him while he's in the hospital. Hopefully it will only be a couple of days in the PICU, and then Sam can come to visit.
We wanted to get a few more pictures of Alex's bare, scar free chest, and thought we would share them with you as well.

Sam and Alex had some time to hang out tonight. We had family night, played some games, and had some hot chocolate and cookies (thanks Tiffany!).


We are heading to hospital @ 6 am, and they will take him back @ 8:00. We will keep this updated as we can throughout the day, and will post some pictures. So there's your warning.
We cannot thank each of you enough for your love and prayers. Thank you to all of you for your phone calls and offers to help. We are so blessed to have so many who care for our family. Please continue to offer prayers in behalf of our family, especially for our two sweet, adorable, loving, precious boys!
We know that now is the time to completely put our trust in God! He will bless! He will continue to work miracles! We can all believe in that! We love you!
