We just received an update from the Nurse Practitioner, that Alex has been on the heart-lung bypass machine for about 15 minutes now. He is doing well. They will update us again at 1130. The surgeons told us this morning that total surgery time should be about 4 hours. We are just planning on about 1-2:00 before he is done. He did really well this morning, just hungry, and I'm sure was worried about being starved again!
We feel very much at peace with all of this. Our Heavenly Father has blessed us so greatly. Please know that your prayers are much appreciated and we feel such strength from them. Thank you for your love and many prayers. We will continue to update as we hear and are able to.

I will totally keep you guys in my prayers and thoughts today, rememeber there are those of us out here that dont know you but are thinking about you and know what you are going through. Wow, this day really did come fast. I have been gone most of October and I come back to find out the surgery is today!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you all today and always!! Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. You know I'm just a bridge away and can easily bring you over anything you might need!!! Dinner? (Cafe Rio??) ... Anything!!

Oh my heck Camille~ You are so amazing. I am so impressed with you and your strength. You are such a good mom. I have tears just thinking about you so much today and all last week. This day did seem to fly by. I pray all goes well...bypass is so scary and being nurses it is 10 times worse because we know more. You and your family esp your little boys are in my thoughts and prayers today. Please make sure to take care of you too...your kiddos need you! love ya suz
