Cath Today

We have had a whirlwind day (Camille mostly). Primary childrens called and said they wanted to do the heart cath on Alex today, but were still concerned about his vomiting, even though he has done better the last two days. We had to meet with his regular pediatrician to make sure the vomiting was not any illness, which she said it might have been when he first started, but doesn't think there is anything now. After much coordination with PCMC and Alex's doctors they are cathing him today, as we post this in fact. They are still planning on doing the surgery on Wednesday. Poor Alex has had the worst of all of this because he hasn't been able to eat since 7:00 this AM. He handled it pretty well though. We will know more about the cath in an hour or two and will post more info as we get it, which may be tomorrow by the time we get home. Thanks for your continued concern and prayers.
