Because of Alex's seizures that he had in the hospital, he has still been on the medication to control that. We went in for a repeat EEG yesterday. If it came back normal, we could start to wean him off of that medication. Well, results are in, and the EEG was completely normal. What a blessing!! Our Heavenly Father never ceases to amaze me with His goodness and love! We will begin decreasing the medication tomorrow, but it will take several weeks to be completely off of it. You cannot stop it cold turkey. Here are a couple of pics of what Alex looked like during his test. Amazingly enough, he cooperated and slept when he was supposed to!! I was shocked!!

The EEG was @ 9:30 a.m.,then we had an appt. with the Nurse Practitioner, but not until 1:30 p.m. So here a couple of cute pics of Alex hanging out in the car. Sitting by himself too! He is still a little bit unsteady, but so much improved!
Thank you to all of you who continue to pray for our family and especially little Alex. Once again he is proof that prayers work! Oh and by the way-- Fatty, I mean Alex weighs just over 19 lbs now!! What a kid!

I am so happy to here things are still going well for him! He is pretty big, it took Ethan forever to hit 20 pounds, and Alex is almost there, that's crazy! By the way, love the picture with the hair. Looks great!
such cute pics and so glad everything looks good...but I must say that pic of you holding him on the bed immediately made me feel exausted (even though you look great!)!!! keep up the good work!!

Alex is so big, he should catch Easton's 21 pounds pretty soon! I'm glad he's such a cute, happy boy despite all he has been through! Kari
