Yes, let me repeat myself.... What were we thinking? Introducing the newest member of our family....... dog.
She is a mix of Golden Retriever, and Great Pyrenees. Basically, she's just a hairball. She is still nameless at this point. We originally came up with the name "Moose", because she will be as big as one when fully grown, but we're not sure about that name. So as of now, we don't have a name to tell you.
She's a doll though. She so far has been very mellow and happy just checking out her new house. We know that her temprament will change about 11:00 tonight and she will be ready to go!
The kids like her, but it's an adjustment. Sam has always been leary of dogs. He is fine with them if they're not jumping on him and leave him alone. Well, I guess now is the time conquer that fear! I don't think it will take him long to adjust.
Alex is a little frustrated with her. I knew he would be! He wants to follow her and it drives him crazy that he is in one spot and she is moving. He actually held himself up on his hands and knees while watching her. He also lunged at her a couple of times while he was sitting.
So, once again life has changed in the Hood household. Be sure to wave hi at our new addition as we're out wearing off puppy energy!

I don't know what you were thinking. Camille are you feeling ok? :) Austin can't wait to come over and see Sam's new dog. He would be head that way now but I told him he had to wait until it was daylight. :)
Ahhhhh, I just want to reach into my computer and squeeze her!! She is so cute. I love having a dog.. Granted they're a lot of work, they're so much fun.. As far as a name, she looks like a Sadie.... Maybe we can set up a play date for Casey and your dog, that would be interesting.. Good luck with her..

We have been thinking about getting one too and seeing your cute little puppy makes me want one more!
One thing at a time around here though...we'll see what happens after the baby is born!

I have to say I didn't see that one coming. I just showed Brady and he said..."what they got a puppy." My kids would love one too. She sure is a cute puppy!!
She's cute and you are the bravest woman I know! Olivia and Ellie like Bailey or Tailey for names.
Wow Camille...a dog? Actually, I think it is great!! And it looks super cute! Can we just come and enjoy your dog, so we don't have to get one of our own!? My brother said he saw you had a cute little dog, and I didn't believe him at first...so I am glad you posted about it! It looks like an adorable puppy, and Sam and Alex will love having a dog!! Alex looks so great!! Can't wait for summer so maybe we can finally get to play with him!!!
I know the feeling...we did the same thing...Christmas 07...a chihuahua...we still, from time to time, say "what were we thinking...' but you know the kids love him (and so do we)...a new member of the family. He is CUTE!!
Oh so CUTE! We had to give our puppy a new home because Kylie is allergic. Such a cute puppy. Nothing better then 2 boys and a dog!
