The other day I needed to make Sam lunch before school, and Alex needed fed, you know, same story that every other mother tells. Sam had made himself a "bed" on the couch with all of his bedding and was reading books. I asked him if he could watch Alex while I made their lunches. He, as always, said "sure mom", so I set him by Sam, and Sam starts telling him....
"Alex look, these are science books, this one is about penguins" and he begins telling him everything in the book. Well, you would've thought that Alex understood every word Sam was telling him. He sat there silently and kept looking up at Sam and then back at the book. Sam adores Alex, and Alex is quite fond of Sam as well.
So, I don't care what you say, you'll never convince me that there is a better brother than my Sam! :)
Oh, and I don't consider myself to be bias either!

That is so cute! I love it when my kids all get along. :)
Those were some darling posts. I love how particular Sam is about hair and his facial makeup. Your boys are so sweet to each other.
I also love the frustrated face!!! Too cute.
It's amazing how our kids come to us when they are meant to....to help us out in our daily routine, to be a great example to siblings, or to teach us the lessons we need to learn at that time. You are blessed...your boys are wonderful, and so very cute! :)
I forgot for a few weeks that because your site went private I wasn't getting automatic updates through my google reader anymore and I just got caught up on all your recent pics. Your boys are SOO adorable. They brought a big old smile to my face.
Sam is the best big brother out there! I can only hope that Mackenzie is a great big sister and we can have great stories like these!
Big brothers are the best. Not to be picky or anything, but I wanted a boy 1st so we could have a big brother. That is so sweet.
Yes, Sam is a great big brother. Nothing makes a mother happier than to see their children playing together. My Mom made a good point the other day about that... she said, "it helps to know they will always take care of each other!"
not only is this one of the sweetest stories ever, but you did a great job capturing the moment(s) with the camera!!
love it!!!
