Unfortunately.......

Alex is going to have his heart cath. It's bad enough that they have to do it at all, but another bummer is that the only open appt. they had before his surgery is on Oct. 31st @ 1:00 in the afternoon. Huge, huge bummer for Sam since he is so excited to be Darth Vader this year. We are on a waiting list to take a cancellation spot, but I'm sure that won't happen. We will probably have to just have one of us come home to take Sam trick or treating, and then maybe bring him up to the hospital to show off his costume and visit Alex.
It's going to be okay. We haven't told Sam yet, because we're hoping to keep Halloween as "normal" as possible for him. He is such a good kid and very understanding of all that Alex has to go through.
So, anyway, there are the results that we've been waiting for. We know that he is in good hands and that our Heavenly Father and his ministering angels will continue to take care of him. We will let you know if anything changes. Thank you for your prayers and continued support of our family!
